Cat is an Oxford University graduate and the CEO and Co-Founder at Trace, a platform that empowers businesses to start their net zero journey through reliable, transparent carbon carbon accounting. Prior to founding Trace in 2020, Cat spent eight years at Macquarie Bank, driving a range of projects in the renewable energy space, and using human centred design to solve problems. With a reputation of ‘making things happen; she founded Trace in 2020 with Joanna Auburn, and gained immediate interest from impact-focused VCs and angel investors, closing their first seed round of $1.5 million that same year.
