Where Valiant started.
In 1903 founder Frank Griff, an immigrant 19 years of age, sought an opportunity as a merchant in Broken Hill. He established ‘Frank Griff — General Furnisher & Importer’. Growth and opportunity lead Frank to Sydney, where he established an eight-floor furniture business on Pitt Street. The business was renamed Valiant in 1961 and is still owned and operated by Frank Griff’s family to this day.
