About ANDrew
Andrew is a Professor of Human Psychopharmacology based in Melbourne, Australian and Newcastle-upon-Tyne, UK. He has affiliations with Monash and Swinburne Universities.
His research aims to understand the mood and cognitive effects of 'nutra' interventions (nutrition, nutrients, nutraceuticals), drugs and alcohol. Specifically he is interested in the human brain and behavioural processes underlying these effects. This research aims to understand acute cognitive enhancement and develop interventions to treat neurocognitive decline and mental health conditions.
He is the Chief Scientific Officer for Ārepa Nootropics who produce evidence-based, brain enhancing products. He also works as a consultant/expert advisor to industry (ranging from start-ups to numerous Fortune 500 companies). In these roles his aim is to translate science into benefits for brain and mental health.
